Monday Morning Motivation

· health,Change,Goals

If you're like most of us, you regularly reflect on your goals. Many of us decide to break old, unhealthy habits. Others resolve to take become healthier, improve their diets, lose some weight, or begin a regular exercise program. That's why I'm writing today.

Wellness and being healthy are about being fully optimized in the seven dimensions of life, physically, financially, family, socially, career, spiritual and mentally. We represent this as seven spokes in a wheel. I urge you to give some thought to your health in these seven areas and here's a one-page-pdf to help you do that....

When you do identify an area that is challenging you, it's time to set "SMART" Goals. Your Goal should be:

Specific (In other words, they are not vague or broad)
Measurable (You can measure your progress at any point along the way)
Actionable (Simply put, you can act upon your goal)
Realistic (They are attainable—challenging, but within reach)
Timely (They have a reasonable timeline)

It's all about taking small steps from wherever you are today - starting at whatever health and fitness level you're at. Structural Corrective Chiropractic, Nutrition, and Acupuncture care are for you if you want to improve your health naturally, using the body's innate wisdom to heal itself. If you have any health issues that are causing you concern, or if you just want to keep your body and immune system strong and healthy, I'd love to see you in the office.

And with that, have a happy Monday all ! Dr. Kristen.
